Cold exposure is powerful.
But only when done correctly.
đźš« DO NOT:
Go from intense heat/workout → straight into cold
Plunge if you feel dizzy, overheated, or dehydrated
Do this after alcohol
Do your first sessions completely alone
⚠️ Why?
Because of something called the cold shock response:
• sudden gasp
• rapid heart rate
• loss of breathing control
DO THIS INSTEAD (10–15 min before)
- Normalize your body temperature
• Rest after workouts
• Stop sweating
• Hydrate
2. Light movement (not intense)
• Walking
• Arm circles
• Squats
👉 Goal: warm, not hot
3. Breathwork (5–10 min)
• Inhale (4 sec)
• Exhale (6–8 sec)
Repeat slowly
