What does "posture of your heart" mean?
1 Samuel 16:7 talks about how we as humans can look at the wrong things like someones physical traits or status but God looks at the heart. The intent or motive. The root of where all things grow. (example: greed, envy, lust vs Faith, surrender, guidance)
We should strive to do the same, not only with others, but with ourselves. What is our motive or intent with our prayer?
James 4:3 says "you ask and don't receive bc you ask with the wrong motives so that you may spend it on your pleasures."
