Have something weighing on your heart or mind? Bring joy to your life as easy as 1.2.3.
James 1:2-3 says "Consider it pure joy when you face trials of MANY KINDS..." 1) Shift your perspective from "God, why is this happening to me?" to "God, I know you got this. What do you want me to learn from this?" Believing and having faith that God is fighting your battles and it isn't dependent on your strength or your abilities will change the way you are looking at it. 2) "of many kinds"... this means WHATEVER you are going through. Big or small. God is working it out for your good. Something physical? Spiritual? Emotional? Mental? In your health? In your family? At your job? 3) "Will produce perseverance"... when you walk through that trial, LEANING on God... walking with Him... that walk will improve your character. I will change the way you look at things going forward. It will change the way you react to future events... bc they are coming. Joy is a fruit of the spirit. It is something that can't be obtained through actions on your own. Perseverance produces character and character produces HOPE.. another fruit of the spirit. Continue practicing this and you will see you character blossom with all of the fruits of the spirit! "And they will know them by their fruits." Matthew 7:16

Easier said than done but the wonderful thing about being human.. we have the choice to change our thoughts!!! Does your desire outweigh your circumstance?

@Amanda Eden girl yes 🙌 bc we serve a good God! A never changing God. He doesn’t bless us one day and punish us the next. My hope is that these devotions help you persevere a little easier so you can see the character that He is building in you. 🫶
What does God say your current season is for?
Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 will really open your eyes to where you have made your own moves outside of Gods will or plan. We have these plans for us that are beautiful and some are even desires that were placed by God himself…. But it’s not yet time for them.

Finding comfort that the same questions that we are asking today, Habbakuk asked also.
Habbakuk 1:2-4 starts off with his first line of questions... I can't help but think how similar these questions are to the ones I have asked in my own life. But how do we know when questioning God turns into cursing God.. By the position of our heart. You can hear the concern for the world around him when you read his words. You can hear his desire for God to change it bc he knows who God is. He knows God's power. He knows He is in control. Habbakuk is saying "God what is going on around me is sad and hard to watch, I don't know why its this way or how you are working but I trust you" We can and will continue to be faced with situations that may bring us to our knees.... make us angry and question why God is letting it happen.... Just don't forget who God is... He is a God of refining... He is a God of details.... He is a God of hope. He is a God of perfect timing....

If you are rooted in fear or anger, you are blocking yourself from experiencing the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:17-19 Paul tells us that we need to be ROOTED and ESTABLISHED in love so that we can comprehend the depth, height and width of Gods love and how it surpasses understanding SO THAT YOU may be filled with the fullness of God. He is telling us there is an order that has to happen. If you are rooted and established in fear, anger, the past, victim mentality, distrust, the flesh, envy, etc. You are not going to be able to comprehend the extent of God's love. And if you can't comprehend the extent of God's love, you won't have the opportunity to be filled with the fullness of God. What is the fullness of God? Sustenance. The receiving of God's power and love through the Holy Spirit. Some of you may feel like God isn't enough. For those, you need to ask yourself what you are rooted in. It's most likely not going to be love.
