Pronunciation Challenge: What Did You Do Yesterday?
You’ve learned the three ways we pronounce -ED endings:
🔹 /t/ — worked, watched, laughed
🔹 /d/ — played, called, cleaned
🔹 /ɪd/ — wanted, needed, started
Now it’s your turn!
👇 In the comments, write 3–5 sentences about what you did yesterday or last weekend.
Try to use several regular past-tense verbs ending in -ED.
For example:
“Yesterday, I worked in the morning. Later, I called a friend. We decided to watch a movie.”
⭐ Bonus Challenge: After each -ED verb, write its pronunciation: /t/, /d/, or /ɪd/.
Example:
worked /t/
called /d/
decided /ɪd/
