Hi guys, What is the best way to deal with flyer lies? Been struggling lately with this and on multiple occasions I have been in situations where I have flown the green by 10-12 yards on good shots and I think this is attributed to the ball being wet, sitting up in the rough etc and not sure how to deal with it.

It’s crazy how big of a difference what grip you have on your clubs can have, good and bad! Listen to my cautionary tale below and don’t be like me 😅

Hi all, In the last few months I have participated in both a club fitting and a ball fitting exercise. Was helpful and interesting. The biggest impact was the club fitting exercise. They worked with different lies, shafts, grips. I ended up with some clubs that really feel better in my hands and I swing better. It added a decent amount of distance and more consistency. Do not get me wrong you have to get a good consistent swing or it does not matter what you buy, but it certainly does help. The ball fitting was informative, I learned a lot about ball spin and landing angle. They recommended a ball with more spin for me to get a little more stick on the greens with my medium to short irons If you never have done this try it out!

I like @Jacob Erwin ’s post and thought I’d roll with a similar idea. What’s your favourite club(s) you guys have in the bag that will be hard to get out? For me, I am In love with Titleist hybrids and woods. I think they are unicorns! Won’t be ditching my TSR2 3HY or GT1 3W anytime soon. Here’s the HY off the deck numbers ⬇️

Yesterday I was on a morning walk with my wife and dog. 13 degrees (Celsius for all you 🇺🇸’s)… no wind. I was fired up. A course 2 mins up the road was open. Booked a tee time with 3 hours of room to get my online lessons done. 2 hours later I walk outside and it’s 4 degrees, hints of snow, and 70km/h winds. Needless to say I canceled, that’s how my first round went this year. In the past I would’ve gone out and just toughed it out. Is that a sign I’m getting old? Or more mature? 😂
