Well. I’m probably going to close this group. It costs $9 a month and it’s been too difficult to get active engagement on here. My hope was to have a space to meet and talk songwriting and share songs and get feedback. But I have not even been able to get one live meeting with anyone to see how well this platform works. If anyone genuinely wants to try to make this site viable, lmk and I’ll pay for another month. Otherwise I’ll close it down.

Hey, I wanted to share something with you. Yesterday I took a girl to a concert to see my buddy's band in Wisconsin. Before we went, I asked her ten questions so I could write a song based on her answers. She put a ton of thought and emotion into it, especially since she's working through a situation with a guy she's unsure about. We made an initial version together, then I did a couple more edits to shape it into what I was hearing in my head. The final version turned out incredibly powerful and beautiful.
