Monday Prompt
🧠 Neuroscience Fact
Your brain is constantly receiving information from your body.
This process is called interoception—your ability to sense your heartbeat, breath, tension, fatigue, comfort, and emotion.
Research suggests that stronger interoceptive awareness is associated with greater emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience.
This is also found in the 5 min listening method-where we actively “listen” to the body, a process where you move and breathe and tell your body “I am here to listen to you.”
You follow your impulses to move, you follow your breath, you let your body DIRECT you.
You can start with 5 min and see how it feels…
✨ Reflection
what are the characteristics of the relationship you currently have with your body? And what do you hope to build more of as you practice listening to your body with compassion?
