Parametric design of Bevel Gear
Hi everyone,
In this post you will see a parametric bevel gear design, which I replicated from a youtube video. Because I cannot find that video as of now, if anyone wishes to see it and follow it's instructions on his/her own you can reply to this post and I will look for it more carefully.
The part uses Solidworks equations for the majority of the necessary dimensions, while the ones that have to be defined by the user are as follows:
- the pitch diameter
- the number of teeth
- the length of said teeth
- the angle of action
- the pitch angle
Text regarding the identity of each variable can be seen written in english at the "comments" column of the equation table.
