I have another theory...
I think most adults are walking around carrying a backpack they forgot they were wearing. ๐
Inside it is:
๐ชจ Guilt
๐ชจ Other people's expectations
๐ชจ Things they should have said
๐ชจ Mistakes from ten years ago
๐ชจ The need to prove themselves
๐ชจ Fear of disappointing people
๐ชจ "I'm not enough."
And here's the strange part...
Most of it doesn't even belong to them.
They've just carried it for so long they think it's part of who they are.
Maybe growing up isn't about carrying more.
Maybe it's about finally deciding what you're ready to put down.
