Gentlemen, it’s great to be back and to keep Scott’s spirit alive. For those who don’t know me — and a hello again to those who do — I’m Henry, a History and English teacher. I’m originally from the UK, but I’ve spent the past few years living and working in Australia, Vietnam, and now Shanghai.
When it comes to style, I’ve always preferred an alternative twist on classic menswear. Dressing well shouldn’t mean dressing the same. I’m partial to a green or chalk-striped suit, a bold patterned shirt, and my trusty monk strap shoes — a small nod to tradition with a bit of personality thrown in.
For balance, I turn to swimming, especially ocean swimming. There’s something about the salt water and open horizon that clears the mind and resets the rhythm.
I’ve joined this society because I value what it stands for — good conversation, humour, self-discipline, and a shared appreciation for the finer details of character and style. Looking forward to reconnecting and meeting more of you along the way.
