Bali Statue Gouache Painting
Hi everyone,
This is my first post in the community. I wanted to share this in connection to the War on Beauty post.
I took a photograph of this statue ten years ago when I traveled to Asia for a month. This is in Ubud, Bali. I always thought it would be a great painting, and I have many other photos that I'm working on paintings from that trip. Finally, ten years later!
It's 12" X 12" in gouache. There's one WIP progress shot here before the final.
I found Bali to be a beautiful place with all of the mossy and bizarre statues and architecture.
