It is becoming more and more clear to me that we humans are on the cusp of having to learn how to experience our emotions. We are being pushed to finally deal with a lifetime of emotions we have either run from, hide from, or fought to keep tightly bound deep inside. The world is increasingly giving us experiences where we are being pressured to finally let them out. Except many people have no idea how to do the opposite of what they have spent a lifetime trying to control. Emotions are E=energy in motion. They have highs and they have lows. Our society seems to be comfortable in the highs but tries anything it can to avoid the lows. What if all we need to do is allow the E=energy to actually move no matter if it is a high or if it is a low?
I would love to have a discussion on this topic and get your experience with your relationship to emotion it's highs and its lows. What do you tend to do when you feel a low? What do you do to avoid it or stop it? Do you see a purpose in the low? I hope I hear from you all.
