The Slam – Sports Media teaches aspiring writers, interns, and creators how to think, write, edit, and produce sports content from idea to publication. You’ll learn how sports stories are shaped, how articles are built and edited, how visual coverage works, and how modern media extends into photography, podcasting, and short-form video.
Designed for beginners, this course mirrors real intern-level expectations in sports journalism. You’ll develop a point of view, build structured sports articles, use ethical editing and AI tools, learn the fundamentals of sports photography, and explore podcasting and video shorts used by today’s outlets.
