Book Hooked: how to build habit forming products
I recently read Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products by Nir Eyal, and one sentence really stood out to me: “A successful product isn’t just something you use once, but something that becomes part of your routine" This idea made me step out of a narrow way of thinking and see the bigger picture how I can create an experience that naturally brings users back. The book is full of insights that help you look at things from a different perspective and guide you in building products that leave a lasting impact on people’s lives. There’s one quote from the book that really got me thinking : “The products we use habitually alter the way we see the world, change how we behave and reshape who we are.” The book is basically about how to build products or services that become a habit for people like something they keep using without even thinking about it. Honestly, it really makes you think bigger—how to make your project or product part of people’s daily life not just a one time purchase I’d definitely recommend reading it.
