Instagram 🤨

A midlife woman I know just posted on Threads about how she’s so sick of trying on Instagram and getting nowhere.

I posted that I think Instagram is a big old waste of time (especially for attracting new people).

The number of replies trying to get her to keep on wasting her time was very high. Now I know most of them are probably trying to sell her something Instagram related.

But why are so many digging their heels in when it comes to Instagram? And are we, as midlife women less willing to let our lives be dictated by a social media app. Hence we are here instead.

Maybe it’s also a generational thing because we remember what life was like before we were dictated to by algorithms.

Anyway. I just thought it was interesting and wanted to see what you all think.
