A Pivoting Aerospace Engineer

Howdy, I'm Irene! I'm a California gal at heart, but been here in Houston, TX, USA for the last 17.5 years supporting NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in the Moon to Mars Program.

I am craving more alignment and clarity on how I can best empower young ladies that want to pursue technical careers, but come from single-parent homes in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods (like me!). At the moment, I'm working on becoming a professional speaker to help share my story and inspire action to build up their careers.

To feel grounded and in flow, 🎵🎶You make me feel like dancing, gonna dance the night away! 🎶🎵 I'm a sucker for dance aerobics (proud owner of maaaannny Jane Fonda VHS tapes) or group dancing 💃 👯‍♂️ 🕺
