Update
Currently working on the videos for the classroom content. There will be three courses. The welcome section, the monetization section, and the playbook section. The playbook section will be centered around skill development, the monetization will go over the steps to earn money either independently or through establishments, and the welcome section will be the initial steps new members should follow. Your patience is appreciated!
Expectations & Introduction
The first step I'll be working on is putting together the general monetization path around books, films, music, and theatre! (How you make money with your stuff.) Then I will begin to contact creators I've learned from who I think would help the community members with learning their respective crafts. (If you have recommendations please voice them!) The first 1000 members will have free access to the community for life. I've broadly categorized creator types into 5 groups (Around books, film, music, and theatre.) 1.) Writers & Storytellers - Authors/writers of nonfiction, fiction, poetry. Screenwriters, Songwriters, Narrative Designers (Think books, video game, film, transmedia storylines. Dialogue, song lyrics, etc.) 2.) Visual Creators - Illustrators, artists, painters. Graphic Designers. Storyboard artists, Animators (Think cover art, concept, chapter illustrations, album art, etc.) 3.) Audio Creators - Music composers (Scores or themes). Producers (Music and Audio.) Sound Designers (Film, Video Games, Immersive.) Sound Engineers (Mixing & Mastering) Foley Artists (Creating original sound effects) 4.) Performers - Actors (Live-Action, Voice Acting.) Singers/Vocalists (Lead & Backing) Musicians (Instruments, DJs, Turntabalists), Narrators (Audiobooks, Voiceovers.) Dancers (Music Videos, Films, Plays, etc.) 5.)Film, Video, & Production Designers - Directors (visionaries) Cinematographers (visual storytelling through cameras) Film Editors (cutting, pacing, color grading, post production) Special Effects (CGI, practical, VFX, motion, Nuke, etc.) Set Designers (Film, theatre, lighting, performance or events.) Costume Designers & Make-up Artists. If you're new, welcome! Please introduce yourself and tell us which one of these types describes you! (You can be all five! Creativity has no limits.)
