2nd F*cketlist Item Ticked Off!
Last weekend, my digital asset portfolio made enough profit to buy me a spontaneous trip to Dundee! My partner and I got to explore the V&A up there. We also saw the Lemmings statue (retro gamer alert), climbed the Law Steps, learned about polar exploration at the Discovery Point and had dinner with a view at the waterfront. Overcoming my fears and Stelling into a new investor identity made it possible. 🙌🏻

Uncover your true potential
“The man who swims against the current, know the strength of it” ~Woodrow Wilson Strength is forged in resistance. When you push against the current, you don’t just discover its power—you uncover your own. Every struggle refines you, every challenge builds you. Keep swimming, keep rising, and soon, you’ll realize you were never meant to drift—you were meant to sail ~Coach Rob

Burden is a blessing
“Every burden is a blessing” ~Walt Kelly I know it might not feel like it in the moment, but your hardships are a true blessing. You are being challenged for a reason. There is a lesson to be learned in this. Do not look at it from the lens of a victim. Instead, become a student of life and pay attention to the subtle signs, nudges and guides through the path to your ultimate purpose. Realize that in our reality of infinite time, space and endless expansion, nothingness doesn’t exist. Same rule applies to loss and hardship. Loss, on its own doesn’t exist. It ALWAYS comes accompanied by growth, learning, evolving, wisdom, experience, expansion and eventual purpose. Stay strong and keep the faith. Your truths will reveal themselves to you. ~Coach Rob

How things can change
Just over 5 years, I was sitting at the dinning room table in my home, sobbing like a child. I had just been given a lift back home from the police as I had been arrested earlier that morning for a DUI (driving under the influence). The cops had found me passed out in my car on the side of the road. The car was totalled. I had fallen asleep at the wheel. I was losing my restaurant as I had accumulated so much dept and was no longer in any condition to properly run my business due to my addiction. I was just about to lose my home and I could feel things were starting to weigh heavy on my wife. My entire world was crashing down on me….rock bottom I remember going through furniture and items we could sell in our home just so we could come up with the next mortgage payment. This home had been our dream home. It was also my family home growing up, as I purchased the home from my step mother when my father passed away a few years prior. It had so much sentimental value to me and I was willing to do anything not to lose it. We ended up packing our bags and putting it up for rent on Airbnb. We slept on couches for 2 years following that. We even slept on the top floor of a barn for over a year. Today, I’m 5 years sober and going on 6. My wife and I manage a 7 figure Airbnb business. We manage our business remotely and travel the world. Our home is still ours although we don’t live in it much, but the fact that I was able to keep our family home for the next generation means the world to me. Now I want to give back to others by sharing my story, because I know first hand what it feels like to be in a desperate situation, not knowing what to do next. No matter how dark things might seem, I want you to know there is ALWAYS light on the other side. Keep the faith. God has plans for you.
