For 6+ months I ran ads to my community to get new members in and while they worked (depending on your definition) they did not bring the level engagement I had hoped.
So for the past 2+ weeks of being in Skool Dads I've realized the member count is less important than number of activities daily by members. Just last week I hit a record of nearly 3X (~210) my previous top number for activities (73) and over the last 7 days my daily average of activities is nearly 2X (121) my previous record.
One thing that's been working for me in my free community is I asked who would be open to a 31 day challenge (it's paid - $99 with a no questions asked money back guarantee). Inside the challenge, (similar to and his Dadland's daily check ins) each member is to post in skool their progress on the specific challenge of the day with easy to follow prompts to copy and paste so it's easy for them. This has really driven engagement and side convos in a way that I've never had in my community before. anyways, more than anything this is an appreciation post for all of the skool dads leaders - for their support and the additional support from all other members. Let's go!
