Completed Day 4 of my PMP class today (just one more day to go!), but I have to admit—I zoned out multiple times thinking about work tasks. 🙃
Thankfully, I managed to snap myself back into focus by being brave enough to ask questions. It really helped me re-engage with the class material.
Morning Coffee Boost ☕
After a late night, I treated myself to a S$1.30 coffee from a local neighborhood bakery café.
It was just the pick-me-up I needed to start the day.
Lunch at a Dumpling Joint 🥟
For lunch, my classmates suggested a newly opened place serving freshly made dumplings and wontons, a spot originally from China.
We shared a comforting meal:
🍜 A bowl of noodles with 12 dumplings
🍖 A plate of trotters
My share came to about S$6.80—a great deal for such a hearty meal!
I wouldn’t have gone on my own, so I’m glad I joined them.
The soup was absolutely delicious and warmed my heart. Sometimes, stepping out of your perception (I thought to myself that dumplings could be found anywhere) can lead to unexpected delights.
Korean Comfort Food After Class
Class ended a little earlier today, so I caught up on some work before rewarding myself with my favorite Korean soondubu soup.
At S$7.50, it was totally worth it.
A perfect treat to end the day on a high note.
Time with Family 💕
In the evening, I met up with my parents:
- Did a bit of work while my mum had dinner.
- Waited for my dad to finish work and got him a Uniqlo membership so he could enjoy $5 off on clothes my mum bought for him.
Extra Bucks & Decluttering 🎉
When I got home, I realized I had received an order for a modern calligraphy book.
That’s another item out of my inventory and some extra cash in my pocket.
Double wins!
Typing in the Dark 💡
Right now, I’m typing this in the dark because my light went out.
Then again, it’s just part of life—little hiccups like these make the journey more interesting.
Feeling grateful for today’s mix of productivity, good food, and family time.
Just one more day of class to go (though I preferred learning to work :P)! 😊
