Day 35
Today wasn’t a total win, but I showed up. Got my run in late, but I still ran. Skated with the guys for a bit, just trying to keep the rhythm going. Had a good practice session shooting hoops, working on my free throws. It wasn’t easy, but the important part is keeping the momentum going. One more day down, and it all adds up in the end. Keep pushing.

At least you ran!
Day 16/90-Day Transformation
Completed Day 4 of my PMP class today (just one more day to go!), but I have to admit—I zoned out multiple times thinking about work tasks. 🙃 Thankfully, I managed to snap myself back into focus by being brave enough to ask questions. It really helped me re-engage with the class material. Morning Coffee Boost ☕ After a late night, I treated myself to a S$1.30 coffee from a local neighborhood bakery café. It was just the pick-me-up I needed to start the day. Lunch at a Dumpling Joint 🥟 For lunch, my classmates suggested a newly opened place serving freshly made dumplings and wontons, a spot originally from China. We shared a comforting meal: 🍜 A bowl of noodles with 12 dumplings 🍖 A plate of trotters My share came to about S$6.80—a great deal for such a hearty meal! I wouldn’t have gone on my own, so I’m glad I joined them. The soup was absolutely delicious and warmed my heart. Sometimes, stepping out of your perception (I thought to myself that dumplings could be found anywhere) can lead to unexpected delights. Korean Comfort Food After Class Class ended a little earlier today, so I caught up on some work before rewarding myself with my favorite Korean soondubu soup. At S$7.50, it was totally worth it. A perfect treat to end the day on a high note. Time with Family 💕 In the evening, I met up with my parents: - Did a bit of work while my mum had dinner. - Waited for my dad to finish work and got him a Uniqlo membership so he could enjoy $5 off on clothes my mum bought for him. Extra Bucks & Decluttering 🎉 When I got home, I realized I had received an order for a modern calligraphy book. That’s another item out of my inventory and some extra cash in my pocket. Double wins! Typing in the Dark 💡 Right now, I’m typing this in the dark because my light went out. Then again, it’s just part of life—little hiccups like these make the journey more interesting. Feeling grateful for today’s mix of productivity, good food, and family time. Just one more day of class to go (though I preferred learning to work :P)! 😊
Why It’s Okay to Take Breaks as Long as You Keep Going
Sometimes we think we gotta be grinding 24/7, but nah, breaks are part of the game too. It's okay to step back for a minute. Your body and brain need a reset, or you’ll burn out. it’s not about how many breaks you take, it’s about getting back up and moving when it’s time. Taking a break doesn’t mean giving up. Just keep going. Take your pause, but don’t stop the hustle. Big wins aren’t from constant grind, they’re from the steady grind that doesn’t quit.

Needed this, thank you!
Day 13/90-Day Transformation: First Day of PMP Class & Small Wins of the Day
I attended my first day of class today to prepare for my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Keeping this short so I can get more rest tonight—gotta pace myself for the journey ahead! Here are a few small wins from today: 💡 Lunch Decision: I opted for a cheaper lunch option after noticing that the salad shop had no root vegetables options. I’m glad I stuck to my decision instead of falling into a people-pleasing habit of buying something I didn’t want, just because the shop seemed to be struggling. It’s a reminder that I don’t have to take on unnecessary guilt for someone else’s business situation. 🛏️ Clearing Space: I sold off a preloved foldable mattress (barely used) at a discount. It feels like a huge relief to get it out of my room. That mattress carried some bad memories, and I’ve been wanting to declutter for a while—happy to finally let it go! 🍱 Dinner Savings: I had yesterday’s leftovers for dinner, which saved me some money and time. Small actions like these really add up over time. ✅ Applied for 1 job on Upwork ✅ Brain dump automation ideas and use cases ❌ Spent 30 minutes learning a new automation tool ❌ Dedicated 30 minutes to exploring a software from my checklist

@Louise Aquino you see if you could start with taking 15 minutes to learn. I asked my manager a couple of times to get the course sponsorship

@Dean G. The hardest thing is to start - you figure out the rest of the stuff later. Have a growth mindset! Stuff gets easier as long as we continue to learn
Day 15/90-Day Transformation
I had another day of full day course today, and completed my assignment (due on Thursday and wanted to get it out of the way) before heading to a work related dinner. Apart from transport, I spent $2.80 on sesame paste waffles lunch because the course provider provided heavy lunch and my dinner was paid for - balancing out my expenses on food the day before; $29.93 spent on: $16.13 for lunch, $4.8 takeout for my father's vegetarian dinner & $9 for a surprise box of surplus breads (which turned out to be 9 breads). I didn't manage to check off any tasks but glad to have known my colleague better and to complete my homework ahead of time!
