Over the years so many parents have said things to me like: 'Oh, I could never home ed because... - I'm not a teacher - We'd drive each other up the wall - They wouldn't listen to me - I'm not clever - I wasn't good at school - I'm rubbish at maths" All of these are voices in our heads pulling us down, keeping us stuck. Before I started home educating someone on FB recommended this video to watch on her feed. I'd already started questioning our education system and knew the lack of creativity was wrong I just couldn't express why it was so wrong.
