Dyslexia is treatable...
That's according to Sue Cook on The Wellness Way podcast. We have dyslexia in our family so I've just purchased her book and recommend others to do so and see if it has the same transformative effects on their loved ones. Just think how many lives can be affected if we all try the protocol that worked for her son . Here's the link to her book for anyone wanting to purchase and I'll also be putting it on my website too. For any doubters it has to be worth trying surely? At least then you'll know once and for all. I have no idea if it's going to change our lives but I do know it's worth giving it a go 100%. Brain in a Jar is a initially a dementia prevention programme for adults but will also help dyslexia https://amzn.to/4gdZp9B

Building a network for High-vibing Home Educating Families
Over the years so many parents have said things to me like: 'Oh, I could never home ed because... - I'm not a teacher - We'd drive each other up the wall - They wouldn't listen to me - I'm not clever - I wasn't good at school - I'm rubbish at maths" All of these are voices in our heads pulling us down, keeping us stuck. I am now ready to build a community for home educating families or anyone wanting to home educate but may have a story running through their head as to why they can't do it. This will cost £25/month but for the first ten sign-ups I'm offering a discounted rate of £20/month. You'll have access to a private whatsapp group, once a month online calls (ideally either 11am Mondays or 7.30pm Monday evenings) with the community, access to a private FB group where we can share tips/advice/challenges, opportunities to connect and bond with other parents and discounts on events/workshops I run. This is just the start and I'm sure other things will build from here. I'm updating my website to create a new group to reflect this but in the meantime I'm excited to meet more home educating families and see where they need support and how I can help them A big thank you to everyone who has helped me on this journey - your support has been invaluable Here's the special offer link for the first ten sign-ups: https://buy.stripe.com/eVq4gyfJu5Tx467ghs2cg04

The TED Talk That Changed My Life
Before I started home educating someone on FB recommended this video to watch on her feed. I'd already started questioning our education system and knew the lack of creativity was wrong I just couldn't express why it was so wrong. The incredible, and sadly no longer with us, Sir Ken Robinson's talk remains as relevant as ever as to why our current system isn't benefiting our children.
