What is a MCP (Model Context Protocol)
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. Don't worry about the jargon. All you need to know is what it does: it's a standard way for AI to connect to outside tools and data.
Think of it like a USB standard. Before USB existed, every device had its own special plug. USB created one universal connector that works everywhere. MCP does the same thing — it's one universal way to plug AI into any tool.
