Actionable Notifications
Actionable notifications let you add buttons to a notification. When tapped, each button sends an event to Home Assistant, which you can use in an automation to trigger a wide range of actions. These notifications work on both iOS and Android.
Practical examples:
- Motion alert while you're away or asleep – Get a notification when motion is detected, with a "Sound Alarm" button that triggers your burglar alarm when tapped.
- Doorbell rings – Receive a notification with a live camera feed of the visitor, plus buttons to lock or unlock your front door.
- Light left on – Get a notification when you leave the house and you left the light on.
