Wanted to show you the real behind the scenes of me struggling, learning, and continuing to grow through training. Lately I’ve been working with a trainer who has me training more athletically focusing on explosive movements, stability, strength, and power.
It’s definitely out of my norm since I’ve spent so long training in a hypertrophy style with 10–12 reps, and now I’m mainly doing 8 reps with more intentional movements.
I’ve been with him for a little over a month now and I can already tell my power and single-leg strength/stability has improved so much. Growth isn’t always pretty, but challenging yourself is where the change happens.
