Welcome! Start Here!
Hey! I'm Danielle, and I am SO glad you found this place. I'm a special ed teacher, neurodivergent entrepreneur, and certified iced latte addict who has been building a business in the margins of my very full, very chaotic life. No massive team. No "quit your job and go all in" moment. Just systems that work with my brain, not against it, and a business that's actually moving forward. This group is for ADHD, autistic, AuDHD brains, or anyone who knows their brain runs differently and is tired of business advice that assumes you have 40 free hours a week. Here's what you can expect: → Real talk, zero grind-culture pressure → Tips that actually work with executive dysfunction, not against it → A place to ask questions without feeling judged → People who get it Here's where to start 👇 1. Take the audit in the pinned Freebie post. It tells you the real reason your business isn't moving yet, out of four options: Overwhelm, Time, Starting, or Burnout. Takes about five minutes and it's uncomfortably accurate. 2. Find your post. Once you've got your result, head to the pinned post that matches it and introduce yourself there. Tell us what's actually going on. That's where the real conversations start, and where I show up to help you figure out the next move. 3. Show up in the feed. This isn't a group you join once and forget about. Ask the question. Share the win. Post the mess. That's the whole point of being here. One thing I want you to know: I'm not teaching theory. Twenty years of special education and corporate training, plus an earlier life in bookkeeping and accounting, and an ADHD brain of my own that's been figuring this out the exact same way you are. Add into the mix 2 kids with special needs, single mom life, and being the main caregiver for my 82-year-old mom, who has a bunch of health issues, and you got one helluva mix. Everything in here has been lived or built by me first. If I can do it, you can do it. We can do it together 😄 Whether you're just starting out or you've been spinning your wheels for a while, you belong here.

Introduce Yourself!
👋 Let's actually meet each other. Drop a comment below and tell me: 1. What's your name and what are you building (or trying to build)? 2. What's your brain's flavor (ADHD, autistic, AuDHD, undiagnosed-but-suspicious, all of the above)? 3. What's the ONE thing getting in your way right now? I'll go first: I'm Danielle. I run Simple 5 to 9 Business Systems and this awesome community! My brain is a beautiful mess of AuDHD chaos, and the thing currently in my way is that I have 23 browser tabs open and zero memory of why. The shiny object syndrome and squirrel brain are real! Your turn. 👇

Freebie Time!
Okay, real quick, if you've ever wondered where your "5-9" actually goes (versus where you THINK it goes), I built something for that. It's a free audit that shows you exactly where your time is leaking, so you can stop guessing and start building. 👉 Where Your 5 to 9 Hours Go to Die Audit Takes about 5 minutes. No fluff, no 40-slide PDF you'll never open. Just straight answers about your own time. Grab it, then come tell me what surprised you most. I have a feeling it won't be what you expect. 😏

Your Audit Results - Starting
🚀 Landed in Starting? Your Idea Called, It Wants a First Step Your results came back Starting, which means the idea is there, you might even have three courses on it already, and the actual first move is still sitting untouched while researching feels a whole lot safer than doing. That's not laziness talking. Getting ready has quietly become the replacement for actually starting, because as long as you're still preparing, you never have to find out if the thing works. The fear of not being ready enough is doing more driving than most people realize. Tell us what your idea actually is, and what the first real step would look like if you shrunk it down small enough to stop being scary. We'll help you make it embarrassingly small. Comment with your idea and your smallest possible next step. No "someday." Today-sized only.

Your Audit Results - Time
⏰ Landed in Time? Come Find Your Hours Your results said Time, which means your 5 to 9 hours are getting quietly stolen before you ever sit down to work, and when you do finally get a minute, there's no real plan waiting for you, so you default to whatever feels easiest instead of whatever actually matters. Here's the thing nobody says out loud: "I don't have time" and "I'm not using the time I have well" are two completely different problems, and most people who think they have the first one are actually dealing with the second. Tell us what's really eating your hours right now. Kids, a day job, caregiving, doom scrolling at 9:47pm because your brain is fried, whatever it is. Name it here and let's figure out where the actual thirty minutes is hiding. Comment with where your time is really going. We've all lost hours to something ridiculous. You're not the only one whose "quick email check" ate forty minutes.
