Medicine doesn’t just show you light and love.
It shows you your shadow. Your cruelty. Your selfishness. The ways you’ve hurt people. The parts of yourself you’ve been hiding from.
For me, it was when I had to go into my shadows. Where I had to accept myself in places where I showed up not in the best way - towards others and towards myself.
It was such an uncomfortable space. No more blaming anyone. Just self-reflection. No more trying to make anyone a villain in my story.
Just me. Seeing myself clearly. The good and the ugly.
What about you?
What’s the darkest truth medicine has revealed to you about yourself?
And how did you integrate it?
No judgment. Just honesty.
