The Name of Our God
“Then Moses said to God, “Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers (ancestors) has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “You shall say this to the Israelites, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”” Exodus 3:13-14 AMP Gods name I AM has been highlighted to me this week. So I have been doing some research on I AM Gods name in Hebrew. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh I was told by a commentator that Gods name is difficult to translate in just a couple of words because it is not set in time like our language is. Isn’t that revealing.? Thus the translation below is, to me is, full and rich in who He is. But really our words cannot describe Him. Ehyeh asher Ehyeh - I will exist because I will exist - I exist because I exist - I am who I am - I will be who I will be - I am that which exists I thank you God for who you are! I ask that you will bless each one of us with a deep sense of who you are this week. Allow this knowledge to go deep, deep within us and may revelation knowledge will come from it . Scripture & a prayer for your sleep tonight
He gives His beloved sleep. Ps 127:2 When you lie down, you will not be afraid. When you lie down your sleep will be sweet.. Prov 3:24 In peace, I will lay down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Ps 4:8 I lie down and sleep, I wake again because the Lord sustained me. Ps 3:5 I thank you for this day Our Lord and King. Thank you for your Love and care this day. All may have not gone according to our plan but you and your goodness was there. I thank you for my dear sisters in this group. Bless them with restful sleep. May each one awake with a song or scripture in their hearts and minds that will sustain them into their day. Love you!
