Beloved, You Have Been Made Alive
Ephesians 2:4-5-But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace are ye saved).
Our sins caused spiritual death in us, that is, until Jesus Christ came into our lives and brought us life. To “quicken” means to bring life to, to make alive, and that is what He did for us. Because of God’s great love for us, we are brought to life with Jesus. We have a whole new life because of Him!
