Last Thursday I woke up and God said “stay home from work” I was like “wait what??…. There’s literally no good reason to use my sick time…. I don’t want to… I don’t like this, etc”
So sitting at home I was like “well can I at least clean?”
He’s like “no. Rest.” I’m like “cool… cool… well I don’t think that means lay in bed all day and watch reels on insta… so what is rest?” I Pinterest “state of rest” some stuff comes up, it wasn’t super clear but okay.
THIS THURSDAY… everything that could’ve gone wrong for me to get to work on time happened. Rumy kept waking me up throughout the night and wouldn’t let me go back to sleep. Woke up exhausted, after like 10 mins of waking up God said “how do you feel?” Checking I replied “oh I’m actually feeling pretty okay, not perfect but better than expected and could’ve hoped for” so I’m running late for work, like 10-15 mins late and I’m like “well if it’s Gods will, he’ll make a way for me to get there on time”.
There’s extra traffic and people on the road are not paying attention. The line entering the military base is looong. I’m reaching the gate trying to find my work ID to get in the base… and I CANT FIND IT!! remembering it’s in my other jacket at home.
I conceded, I told the guard at the gate that I I forgot it and he told me okay I’d have to turn around but had to wait for the other guy to escort me. I was about to text my boss “I’m not coming in today” and God said then “I didnt tell you to stay home today”.
The cop that came asked me “ you don’t have anything on you? Nothing we can scan?” I grabbed my License and to much of my surprise (and the guard’s) I showed up in their system and they let me in…
Totally not allowed…
I got there 4 mins early btw
I’m shook and responded at Gods flex (I mean faithfulness) “wow… You made a way that only You could’ve made. You never cease to amaze me. Thank You Father! “
I hope this encourages you to keep pushing and listen to your Father because he HAS prepared the way for you. Oh and it’s never too late or too early to run back to Him! 💖 Love yall!
