After I built this, the client stated that her 2 Kids Were way more engaged. Playing with one another. Uninterested in their electronic devices and one of the non-verbal children was saying new words in their excitement ❤️‍🩹🙏💕

In honor of Stranger Things I’m posting a room I did for a boy on the autism spectrum. He was having a hard time sleeping in his room. His mom didn’t really want him in her bed and needed her time alone to decompress. So we designed the things he loved, which was Stranger things. He now sleeps in his room full time and LOVES it!

Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a busy mom of 3. My youngest daughter has level 3 autism. I was a former first responder who did interior design as my creative side hustle. When I got divorced and had to switch gears and become the full time 24/7 sole care provider for my beautiful daughter…..I started my business Thor Designs here in San Diego, California. I felt and saw the need to start creating beautiful and functional designs spaces that are safe and affordable. Above all sensory friendly! I want to share my ideas and strategies for families who are looking to create these same spaces for their loved ones.
