Studio is live. Here's what it does in 40 seconds.
Studio is live. Here's what it does in 40 seconds. I've been building and running this for a while and some of you have seen pieces along the way. I want to say thank you for supporting this effort. WHAT YOU'RE WATCHING One form. Paste a news article URL or full text, pick a few settings, hit Start. Studio orchestrates the entire pipeline: story generation, scene breakdown, image creation with Leonardo, narration with OpenAI TTS, video rendering with JSON2Video, and publishing straight to YouTube. No code, no templates, no duct-taped stack of Make / n8n + Airtable. The video builds in under 2 minutes. The old way took 8-15 minutes across three different platforms. WHAT STUDIO IS Self-hosted, open source workflow orchestration. You install workflows from a free marketplace in seconds. Workers can run anywhere, your local machine, cloud GPUs, RunPod, Vast, whatever you have. This is not another AI wrapper. This is infrastructure. Runnable, deliverable and extendable. All open-source. WHAT'S NEXT Full walkthrough video is coming that breaks down every step. Cheers

Community Roadmap - Member requests (updated 8/4/2026)
Welcome to Self-Host Hub. This community is for people building automation infrastructure they own: self-hosted workflows, local AI, and systems you run for yourself or your clients. WHAT IS STUDIO Self-hosted workflow automation platform for AI content pipelines. You own the infrastructure, pick your providers, keep your keys. Four pieces: - App (API + web UI) - Workers (general, video, audio, ComfyUI/GPU) - Community Catalog (free providers and workflows) - Plus Catalog (advanced production workflows for members) Deploy however you want: single Docker container, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, GPU Host, or hybrid GPU setups. 📋 ROADMAP - ✅ MVP: faceless video pipeline (OpenAI, Leonardo, JSON2Video) - ✅ Self-hosted video rendering (replaces JSON2Video) - ✅ Self-hosted image generation via ComfyUI (replaces Leonardo): Flux.1 Schnell and Flux 2 Klein, generation and image editing - ✅ Self-hosted TTS voice cloning (Chatterbox, replaces OpenAI TTS): clone a voice from a ~10 second clip - ✅ Bring your own ComfyUI workflows: upload a package, test it privately, publish it to your users - 🔜 Self-hosted video generation via ComfyUI Every stage so far eliminated an API bill. The pipeline runs on your own hardware. 📅 UPDATES - 8/4/26 Studio 1.3.0: pick ComfyUI workflows from a dropdown (no more model field), upload your own ComfyUI packages, one worker serves multiple queues. - 7/31/26 Self-hosted image generation shipped: four ComfyUI packages (Flux.1 Schnell bf16/FP8/GGUF, Flux 2 Klein generate + edit). - 7/28/26 Native workers on PyPI: pip install studio-workers, GPU workers on Mac Apple Silicon without Docker. - 7/17/26 Voice cloning TTS shipped (Chatterbox): clone a voice from a ~10 second clip, standard and turbo. - 7/17/26 Self-hosted video rendering shipped, replacing JSON2Video. - 3/30/26 Studio released. Faceless video workflow, five providers, release pipeline complete. - 2/8/26 Faceless video pipeline running end-to-end.
GPU Price Index is now live 24/7
Studio's AI generation, images, video, audio, runs best with a GPU behind it. You've got three ways to get one: own a card in a desktop/gaming PC, use a capable laptop like an M4 MacBook Pro, or rent GPU time at rock bottom prices from a provider. If you're renting, this stream is for you. It tracks live prices across the best providers 24/7, RunPod, Vast.ai, Clore, SimplePod, showing the cheapest available price per GPU model and per VRAM class, plus live availability. With VRAM prices where they are right now, the real bottleneck is not finding a GPU. It is finding enough VRAM at a price that makes sense. These are rental prices, cost per hour to rent, not retail buy prices. Recommendations are tuned specifically for Studio users, which cards and providers actually fit the image, video, and audio workloads you're running. These are good starting points. Your workload will vary depending on whether you're a solo user, AI automation agency or running a multi-tenant SaaS service. Models: RTX PRO 4500, RTX 6000 Ada, RTX 4090, L40S Bring-your-own-compute is the whole point: Studio runs your pipelines on whatever GPU you rent or own, wherever it lives. This index is how you rent smart instead of guessing. Check it before you spin anything up. Tell me which cards or providers you want tracked next. Cheers
Studio is Live! A Fresh Start
Hi all. If you're here, you're interested in self-hosting your AI automations. You've felt the pain of the cost, the restrictions or not being able to deliver a finished product to your clients and grow your offering without running into roadblocks or running out of ideas or just frustrated by the non-deterministic nature of tools like Claude or Openclaw running on their own. Studio is here to change all that. Studio v0.9 Some of you used the original version of what's now Studio. That version did one thing, faceless video, and it was heavy. It worked, but it was rigid and hard to extend beyond that single use case. Reboot This community is a reboot. If you're wondering where all the old posts went, that's why. Clean slate, fresh start, better direction. Studio v1.0.0 Studio is a complete rewrite. It's a general-purpose workflow engine that replaces the patchwork of tools most people are juggling, things like Airtable, Make, n8n, Zapier to name a few. It connects to AI generation services like Leonardo, JSON2Video, OpenAI, and Claude, but it also has its own workers, coming in the next few days, that replace or leverage those services entirely, running on your own hardware. Video is still there, but it's one of many things Studio can do now. It's still early. The platform is functional and in active development, but features like billing and plans aren't live yet. I'd rather be upfront about where things are than oversell what's coming. Here's what Self-Host Hub is about: Helping you own your AI infrastructure. Your data, your servers, your rules. No per-run platform fees. No vendor lock-in. Swap providers without rewriting everything. It's Live! Studio is public on GitHub right now. Videos are on the way with walkthroughs, builds, and real workflow demos so you can see what it does before you touch a single config file. Installation is simple. Download studio-console, register a domain name if you want public access, answer a few questions and you're up and running.
