Your body is always talking to you.
Before your mind figures it out…
your shoulders lift.
your jaw tightens.
your chest feels heavy.
or maybe your breath gets soft and easy and open.
That’s not random. That’s wisdom.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to override those signals. Push through. Keep going. Don’t be dramatic. Say yes anyway. Finish the thing. Ignore the exhaustion.
And slowly? We disconnected.
We started saying yes when our body whispered no.
We skipped rest when our body begged for it.
We felt tension and called it “normal.”
But your body is not the enemy. It’s your built-in guidance system.
So today’s practice is simple:
Pause a few times.
Ask yourself, “How do I feel right now?”
Notice what feels tight. What feels open. What feels heavy. What feels light.
No judging. No fixing. Just listening.
Maybe your body wants stillness.
Maybe it wants a walk.
Maybe it wants water.
Maybe it wants you to rethink that decision you’ve been forcing.
You don’t have to get it perfect. You just have to pay attention.
Your body is always communicating.
You get to decide what to do with the message. 💫
