It’s National Sleep Week (info here from National Sleep Foundation), and today is National Nap Day!
Honestly… this might be one of the most important wellness conversations we can have.
Because sleep isn’t just about “getting enough hours.”
It’s about giving your body and mind the chance to restore, repair, and reset. 🌙 This is why I love a good nap 😴
When we sleep well, everything shifts a little:
✨ our mood feels steadier
✨ our patience gets longer
✨ our bodies heal and recharge
✨ our minds feel clearer and calmer
But let’s be real for a minute… sleep can be tricky.
So many things can keep it at bay, right?
Racing thoughts.
Scrolling just a little too long.
Stress or hormones or ... life being life!

you’re not doing anything wrong. Many of us are relearning how to rest in a world that celebrates being busy.
This week is just a gentle invitation to start noticing your relationship with sleep and ask:
How can I support my rest a little more?
Maybe that looks like:

Rest is NOT laziness!
Rest is maintenance for your whole being.
I look at this way - if my Creator hadn't meant for me to rest, He would not have made it possible for me to be tired or sleepy.
