I’m Chen, founder of SelfCapital.
When I was a student, I spent an enormous amount of time trying to work out how to prepare properly for investment banking: technicals, interviews, commercial awareness, networking, all of it.
It worked out: I did four spring weeks, including at JPMorgan and Bank of America, converted and spent four years in investment banking before making the move to private equity.
But a lot of the process was still guesswork.
