I am Colin. I host the Self-Unemployed podcast and this is our community where we can work on developing a mindset for productivity, health, wealth, and purpose. Over the years I have had an interest in mindset but whilst I have read a lot of books I struggled to apply it. However, when I have I have seen some good results. Whilst I know that I still have a lot to learn, I know what has worked for me and I want to share it with you. I could spend hundred of hours preparing a course and coaching program then put it out and see if anyone wants it. Hi Everyone, I am currently teaching maths in a secondary school, not living my dream life by any means of the imagination and I am frustrated with being part of the system that has held myself and others back for so long. I am particularly interested in the mindset aspect and changing behaviours however gradual so that the incremental gains build into an unstoppable force. I am intending to take early retirement at the end of this academic year and hope to have replaced my monthly income regularly by that time so that I do not have to return and do supply teaching in September. The bigger picture is to become a respected property investor who looks forward to each productive day....when I become this person I will not have to worry about my finances and will also be in a position to help my three grown children get onto the property ladder. Hi everyone, my name is Mary, a mum of one and work 9- 5 as a dental hygienist. I am 4 months in in the academy on a journey of becoming a property investor. I'm looking to be in more rooms with like minded people whose aim is to be Self-Unemployed. Why now? If not now when? A thought that came to me and hasn't shifted for the first time. Before I'd have the thought and it would be gone as I went into auto pilot. Same old routine with no change/growth. I now have an incredible desire to grow not just financially but personally. I'm just done playing small. Its a scary journey but it will be worse if I continue as I was. Thats for sure. Grateful to be here.
