It is ok to slow down
The world is heavy, responsibility and commitments through the roof, not to mention the state of our current cost of living. It’s not easy being an adult and we were all so excited to grow up. I want to share my experience being a single mum of 2, minimum income and time, and how I survive by including self care in my daily routine. What that looks like and why I believe self care is for everyone, including our kids. What is your current go to for self care? My favourite and most simple is a bath with herbs and oils with my music on.

Introducing Myself 🫶🏽🫶🏽
I just turned 40, have two beautiful (almost) teens and have been living with chronic health conditions and the weight of the world on my shoulders. I found a genuine love for sharing my experiences and noticed how many people were implementing little changes in their lives and seeing the impact it had on their lives and relationships with those around them. I have been studying every year a new interest and found myself completing diplomas in mental health, community services, management, counselling (almost finished 🫶🏽) and balancing caring for children with unique needs. My personal and professional experience has taught me so much about being selfish and learning that it’s not the bad word we had been taught. Putting myself first, saved my life and significantly changed the relationship between me and my children but most importantly the relationship with myself. I want to share cheap, easy, time friendly, fun and safe ideas for you to try in your life. Every person has the right to self care, it looks different on every human and I will keep sharing until each person finds a little extra care for themselves that works
