What did summer's feel like before we were constantly connected?
Think back to summer when you were a kid. Many of us remember:
🚲 Riding bikes
🌳 Playing outside
📚 Reading books
🌅 Watching sunsets
💦 Running through sprinklers
🍉 Eating popsicles on the porch
We weren't constantly entertained.
We weren't constantly connected.
And somehow, life felt full.
Today's world moves much faster.
Every quiet moment can be filled with scrolling. Every pause can be interrupted by notifications.
But God often speaks in the quiet.
He invites us to slow down.
To notice.
To rest.
To be present.
This week, we're going to reclaim a few simple rhythms that help us create space for what matters.
Not because the 90s were perfect.
But because simplicity creates room for connection.
Connection with God.
Connection with our families.
Connection with ourselves.
