The Only Voice That Matters
I am not perfect.
I am not complete.
I am on a journey.
Along the way,
I have failed,
made mistakes,
messed up.
But that does not negate my value.
Mistakes teach me to grow.
Failures teach me not to quit.
I have tried my best,
run my race as I knew how.
And along the way,
I’ve learned
it’s not always perfect.
Others may not have thought
I did my best.
But when it is all said and done,
does it matter what others saw?
For they did not know my heart.
Only You know my heart.
Only You know my thoughts.
And when this life
has run its course,
the only voice that matters
is Yours.
