In moments fleeting, when the world quiets,
I am left alone with my thoughts,
Searching through the silence for the noise.
My mind races,
taking me to places I don’t want to go.
Am I really alone in the quiet?
Your voice echoes in my soul,
drawing me back
to a place of comfort.
Even here,
You never leave me alone.
You draw me closer,
calling my name
“Child, you are Mine.”
Reminding me once again
I am never truly alone.
In the whisper, I hear Your voice,
beckoning me to come,
to sit,
to stay.
Offering peace and comfort
that the world cannot give.
Drawing me closer,
filling the empty spaces
with Your love.
Try as I might, I cannot hide
You will always find me
and draw me back to You.
You are my peace,
my strength,
the Rock where I can hide.
And in Your presence,
I am never alone.
