Apologies folks... I have eldercare issues that are eating my life right now. If anyone else wants to plan an event in Seattle, go for it! I am hoping to get back on track with planning shortly, but it's kind of not in my control. 95 yr old dad just went into assisted living and it's a rocky transition.

Folks, I have been having some fatigue issues (I have fibromyalgia) and this slipped off my radar. And now suddenly it's the day I wanted to do a meetup, and we never chose a venue. I think I was a bit disheartened by the lack of interest and input. I'm going to focus on doing some outreach, do better in October and get this ON. Stay tuned. OK, I've emerged from my High Holiday fog... and we're going to finalize this meetup TODAY so I can promote it in other groups! I'm starting to think either Westlake or Capitol Hill stops -- what if we went with 5 pm at either Annapurna... or just to the Nordstrom Grill? Nobody's ever in there in the evenings - I've eaten there before shows more than once and there is no problem getting a table, and the food is good. For Annapurna (or almost any other restaurant but Nordstrom) we will need a headcount and to try to reserve a table! We could do 6 or 7 pm at most restaurants, but Nordstrom closes at 7. PS - If we do Westlake there are many options so we could always shift on the fly if something goes awry. Please weigh in NOW so we can lock and load!

Hey Seattle peeps! I'm the new mayor in town... and I see there's no post where people can introduce themselves, make connections and collabs happen! So THIS is that post. I'll start: I built and sold a paid community for life-changing money (2011-21), before Skool. That's right, I'm a community dinosaur!
