When it comes to getting paid via Adsense on YouTube you have to look at your current RPM from the advertisers perspective.
Is your content generic and untargeted? If so then you will have a lower RPM, because an advertiser will not spend a high amount on advertising on these types of videos. Because the advertisers that pay a lot are usually selling a high priced product or service. So advertising on a generic topic will not give them the return on investment that they are looking for.
Usually the low RPM niches are the apps niche, gaming etc because it's pretty generic.
However when we start talking about targeted topics such as finance, personal development, dropshipping etc. That's when you are going to see high RPM's anywhere from $10-$30
Why is this? Because the topic is targeted perfectly for the advertiser. For example an advertiser could be selling a $1000 course on a video about How To Make Money Online For Beginners In 2025.
You can absolutely post these high RPM topics on your search based channel since we are posting about a wide variety of topics.
