The Way: Ask, Seek, Knock
After wrestling with scripture, Matthew 7, for a sleepless night I came up with this. Note: The early followers of Jesus called their movement 'The Way' The changing of the name to Christianity takes the focus of the movement from the message and placing it on the persona of the teacher, Jesus Christ. Whether this was a deliberate move by the 'powers that be' to halt or delay us in our spiritual journey laid out in the bible and by the teachings of Jesus should be up for discussion. What is more important: The message or the messenger? Stripped down overview of my refections in sequential order asking the question 'why do we stay focused on the Jesus part of 'The Way' John the Baptist Jesus Holy Spirit Ask Seek Knock The Narrow gate The Garden Meet up with Jesus and the team. Thank Jesus for clearing the path and his work on the cross But get there first John the Baptist came to make straight the path for Jesus Jesus makes way for our personal connection to the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is not personified as he exists only in the spirit and cannot be limited by a moniker The miss step? We tend to get stuck on Jesus and his preparing the way, his selfless service and sacrifice. We can easily relate to, appreciate, and fall down on our knees and worship him for these powerful, majestic and holy actions But what he did on the cross was to tear open the barrier between us and the holy of holies that we now have the ability, if we learn to be still and 'know that I am God', if we pray/meditate with the Holy Spirit to enter into the divine concioueness. Is this is the narrow gate that not many find? Jesus teaches us: Ask and it will be given Seek and you will find Knock and it will be opened Is it the narrow gate Jesus is pointing to? Go to church and praise the Lord, celebrate Jesus and put aside the teaching as it is to difficult to do. But Jesus is part of the triune God and does he really need to hear how great his is from us? Would Jesus prefer that you pray, ask, seek, knock and find your way to the narrow gate, a personal connection to the Holy Spirit.

A Soul Longing to Return
I wandered far through years of shade, Where once-true vows and prayers had faded. My heart grew hard, my steps grew slow, And I forgot the way to go. Through every battle, back and forth, The enemy pressed down my worth. Yet still, a quiet voice held near, A thread of mercy breaking fear. I’m still struggling even now, With weary heart and trembling vow. I often ask, “Lord, why am I here? When once my heart was drawn so near?” My desire was always Christ, To live for Him, my truest life. To walk in calling, truth, and light, And not be lost in endless night. So if this nudge still reaches me, Then maybe grace has set me free. Maybe the Shepherd, kind and true, Still calls my heart to come back through. Please stand in the gap for me, And lift me up in prayer, I pray. That God would soften what grew stone, And lead this wandering heart back home.

Still Standing by His Grace
Hi everyone, I’m from SA and I was born again and baptised in 2015. I want to be honest that I’ve been battling in my walk with the Lord for many years. Even though I truly desire to be faithful and obedient, I’ve often fallen short — getting distracted, lacking in prayer, and not spending enough time in the Word. Still, there has always been a voice inside me nudging me to keep fighting and not give up. I deeply want to fully surrender my life to Jesus and follow Him wholeheartedly. Please keep me in your prayers. I would really appreciate it. Blessings to you.
Jesus showed her 4 places you should NOT be when the RAPTURE begins.. OMG!
