You Need a Budget
Hey ladies 🤍 I’ve officially started reading Broke Millennial, and I wanted to share something I found genuinely helpful already. One of the tools she mentions is You Need a Budget (YNAB.com) and its especially powerful for anyone with an irregular income (freelancers, entrepreneurs, creatives… aka a lot of us). Instead of assuming a fixed monthly number, it helps you work with the money you actually have and make intentional decisions with it. I’m still early in the book, but I figured if something feels supportive for me, it might be useful for you too. :) If you’ve used YNAB before (or another budgeting tool you love), I’d love to hear your experience. And if you’re reading along with Broke Millennial, feel free to share what’s standing out to you so far. This is exactly the kind of conversation I want us having here...practical, judgment-free, and rooted in building real financial sovereignty! 💸✨ — Jade

💰 MONEY FIRST: THE 2026 BOOK CLUB (READ THIS)
Hey friends 👋I want to be really clear about something: In 2026, this community isn’t just a place to hang out, consume content, or quietly think “one day I’ll get serious about my business.” 2026 is the year we put business and money first. Together. Not in a hustle-y, grind-yourself-into-the-ground way... but in a grounded, conscious, grown-up way. I’m not showing up as a perfectly polished expert with all the answers. I’m showing up in the arena, actively prioritizing my own financial health, and having honest conversations about money, debt, power, safety, ambition, and the systems we’re all navigating. One of the anchors of this community in 2026 will be a monthly book club focused on money, power, feminism, and financial consciousness. This is about: - unlearning money shame - understanding the systems we’re operating inside - reclaiming agency and choice - building real skills, clarity, and self-trust around money - If you want to prepare ahead, here’s the full 12-month reading list so you can plan, budget, thrift, borrow, or queue them up however works for you. 📚 THE MONEY FIRST BOOK CLUB — 2026 READING LIST JANUARY →Broke Millennial by Erin Lowry FEBRUARY →Happy Money by Ken Honda MARCH →The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel APRIL →Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez MAY →The Double X Economy by Linda Scott JUNE →You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero JULY →Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin AUGUST →Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall

What a great community!
I am Dr. Claire Jacobs, a transformational coach, mentor, and psychologist who helps high achieving, often neurospicy/ADHD women turn self doubt into solid self trust. I use AI as a thinking partner to turn real psychology into practical tools, not as a replacement for human judgment or care. I use AI to translate neuroscience and therapy skills into clear frameworks, workbooks, and systems that fit beautifully weird/differently wired brains so my clients can lead with more calm, confidence, and clarity. Behind the scenes, I use AI to organize ideas, create custom tools (GPTs, vibe coded apps, etc.), and scale support, while keeping the work deeply human, trauma informed, and evidence based. I look forward to connecting with you all and answering any questions I can about this convergence of mental health, productivity, and AI.
