Wow, there's so much to say here; however, I will keep it short. Wendy Y is a great COACH. Be the "CEO" of your company rather than the "Chief Everything Officer." As I began to embrace this beautiful narrative, I was in a heated discussion and battle with a "MAJOR online Publisher." They pushed me hard, and I pushed back harder. They had some issues with my recent submission. I took it under the chin and sat through 7 revisions now. However, I noticed two sets of standards; well, I have standards too. So, I challenged them recently, and it was a great observation. I want perfection. They responded in the most condescending way. Mocking me, so I showed them what I believe "Perfection" looks like.. I feel good that I am taking "CONTROL" of the narrative and demanding that my product deserves to be produced with integrity. As I wait for the response, I feel like a CEO now, embracing what I know turning my company around looks like, and what it really can be..
