Make My Paths Straight Today Again
There is a difference between asking God to bless your plans… and asking Him to order your steps. Most of us don’t intentionally ignore God. We simply move faster than trust. We wake up already solving, calculating, reacting, and preparing for everything the day might bring. Decisions stack up quickly. Responsibilities press in. Before long, we are carrying the weight of the day before it has even begun. Then, somewhere in the middle of the effort, we invite God into what we’ve already decided.
The Power of Alignment
Success is one of the most powerful words in modern culture. It carries both promise and pressure. The world defines success through visible outcomes: achievement influence recognition financial gain And while these things can create moments of satisfaction, they rarely produce lasting peace or clarity. Scripture presents something radically different. I have opened the first week of the journey in the classroom. Please feel free to take a look and discuss how you feel about it.

The Power of Alignment
Trust or Control?
👉 “Trust God OR control outcomes — which do you struggle with more?”
Make My Paths Straight Today
Most mornings begin with questions. What needs to be done? What decision is coming? What problem needs fixing? Our instinct is to figure everything out first—to lean on our own understanding. But Scripture invites us into a different posture, one that replaces control with trust. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”— Proverbs 3:5–6 This isn’t just a verse to memorize. It’s a way to begin the day. A simple prayer captures its heart: Lord, I trust You with all my heart. I will not lean on my own understanding. In all of my ways I acknowledge You. Make my paths straight today. When we pray this honestly, we’re choosing alignment over anxiety. What a Straight Path Looks Like Today God first in every part of life. Not just in prayer time—but in decisions, reactions, conversations, and priorities. When God goes first, the day finds order even when circumstances don’t. Financially sound—business and personal. Trusting God includes trusting Him with provision. Wisdom replaces panic. Stewardship replaces fear. Peace follows obedience. Healthy—body, mind, and spirit. Your body is not separate from your faith. Caring for it is part of honoring God. Straight paths include rest, discipline, and balance. Straight paths don’t promise easy days. They promise directed ones—fewer detours, fewer regrets, and fewer decisions made from fear. Reflection Questions - Where am I tempted to lean on my own understanding today? - What would it look like to acknowledge God in every area of my life—not just the spiritual ones? - Is there an area (finances, health, work) where I need to realign my trust? Closing Prayer Lord, Today I place my trust in You—not partially, but fully. Quiet my need to control what I cannot see. Guide my decisions, my work, my finances, and my health. Help me walk with wisdom, humility, and peace.Make my paths straight today.Amen.

Nonresistance: The Doorway to Divine Power
Scripture Focus: “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 Devotional Reflection: Nonresistance is the key to the greatest power in the universe. Through it, consciousness—Spirit itself—is freed from its imprisonment in form. When we stop fighting the current of life, the river of divine energy begins to flow unobstructed through us. Resistance is born of fear — the belief that we must defend, control, or manipulate outcomes to survive. But nonresistance is born of trust. It is the quiet knowing that God is working even when we cannot see it, that His strength is made perfect not in striving, but in surrender. When Jesus stood before Pilate, accused and condemned, He did not resist. Not because He was weak, but because He was free. His peace disarmed power; His silence shook kingdoms. True power needs no defense, for it flows from alignment with eternal truth. In moments of trial, our instinct is to push, to prove, to protect. Yet the Spirit whispers, “Be still.” In stillness, resistance melts. Fear loses its grip. The imprisoned light within is released, and we discover that God’s strength has been with us all along. Reflection Questions: 1. Where in your life are you resisting what God may be trying to teach or release? 2. What would happen if you surrendered your struggle today — not in defeat, but in faith? 3. How can you practice spiritual stillness this week and let the Spirit flow freely through you? Prayer: Father, teach me the strength of surrender. Free me from the prisons of fear, control, and pride. Help me to yield my will to Yours, that Your power may flow through me without resistance. Let my stillness become a channel for Your Spirit, my surrender a doorway to divine freedom. Amen.
