If you're anything like me you take your craft very seriously. Although this is a gift, it often leads to isolation. It's hard to find others who match our passion and obsession with creating meaningful art. This loneliness can cause stagnation and you become your only source of inspiration. Time can go by without any meaningful progress being made. I am lucky that things changed for me. I met my mentor. I attended shows, made connections, and received consistent feedback from my idols and their collaborators. I've been a producer for 11 years. The sad truth is the first 9 were a waste in comparison to the progress I made once I grew roots in a community. I decided to deconstruct the blessings that changed my life and provide them to you.
