If you spend even a few minutes with me, you'll soon figure out that I'm a "more is more" kind of gal.
🍫 More chocolate candy? Oh yeah!
📕 More ridiculous hockey romance novels? Give 'em to me!
🏰 More trips to Disneyland? I'm already in the car!
I like indulging in a lot of things and filling my days with the stuff that brings me joy.
But there's one place where I cut back and focus on having less . . .
My to-do list! ✏️
I'm not cramming my day with busy work that doesn't actually lead to sales, and this is exactly what I tell my clients.
You DON'T need to do more.
❌ More watching trainings.
❌ More creating courses and products.
❌ More tweaking things that are good enough.
❌ More organizing instead of implementing.
❌ More getting distracted by adding things to your mile-long to-do list.
This is why doing more doesn’t work.
Because most of the time, the “more” isn’t getting you any closer to a sale.
I know because I used to do this too.
I’d redesign my logo. Organize my planner. Spend HOURS creating another mini course that might sell for $7.
All so I could feel productive without doing the thing that felt uncomfortable . . .
Talking to people.
Now I spend a few minutes a day talking with my Life Editor audience, starting conversations, reaching out to warm prospects, and learning what people actually need.
That's WAY better than a measly $7 sale, amiright?
You don’t need another training to feel ready.
You need to talk to your audience!!!
✅ Who already knows you?
✅ Who already loves your stuff?
✅ Who opens your emails?
✅ Who clicks your links?
✅ Who's active in your free community?
✅ Who needs your help?
✅ Who might be closest to making a purchase?
DM them. Email them. Start a conversation.
Because when you choose your own comfort over talking to the people you could actually HELP, all that busy work starts getting very expensive.
And if you’re staring at a gigantic pile of things you “should” be doing and have no clue which ones actually matter, let’s figure it out together.
