Social Proof on website
How do you all feel about social proof popups on sales and checkout pages? The ones where you can see 'proof' of someone buying the product or subscribing to a membership in een small popup at the bottom of the page (see screenshot). Do you think this adds value? Or is this something people see and think 'yeah sure, congrats' and move on?
I feel like my target audience (the emotional overwhelmed mom) would be pretty easily influenced by these kind of things, but since they are already overstimulated it could also backfire. So I'm very curious to hear any experiences or opinions 🙏
