Someone from my cohort told me they shared what I've been teaching them with someone else. And the person got a breakthrough in an area they struggled with for a long time. The person was excited that they understood enough to help someone else and felt pleased to know what I've been sharing works. I was happy to hear a real life story extending beyond someone in the class 😊.

@Sage Grayson I take your point. I definitely understand human nature. I just think that both can be achieved at the same time. The person could say here's the thing you asked for and give it right away. Also say at the same time...you can totally try to figure out how to tweak on your own. But you could also save time and headaches and risk not reaching your goal by letting me know what you're trying to achieve. And leave it open ended or maybe have a little multiple choice option. People would appreciate the honesty up front, feel like they're getting additional help and the entrepreneur opened a door naturally that can lead to more conversations/sales.

@Nicola Skeet When I first started in business I missed a call because of time zones. I didn't have a calendar yet and we were working it out through the DMs. Because my business is registered in the UK I think they thought I was in the UK. So when we said X time I was thinking my time (AST) but they were thinking five hours ahead British time 🫣.

I run 2 businesses. One is an online reading program. I offered a summer special on assessments for my reading program that ended July 31. I knew I needed to be disciplined with marketing. But I'm not always motivated to do it and I did nothing last weekend 🫣. But this week I was determined to spread the word, ask others to help spread it and reach out to my warmest leads. I reached out to one on Monday. She booked a spot within minutes and I am completing the assessment this afternoon. She also made plans to enroll her daughter in my program officially. Discipline over motivation any day of the week 🙌🏾.

That is pretty neat @Sage Grayson I'm grateful for the ability to eat good food that I didn't have to cook.

I did my first Substack live yesterday 💃🏾. I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next one.
